Getting the word out

It’s been a couple months now and the album has been picking up some traction in a few different places.

J.R.R. Kinsey Review

First, this review from J.R.R. Kinsey is just really great. It’s always a joy to hear that someone experienced something how you really intended it.

“Rundle carries the poem’s plea with an unfaltering voice and music that feels reverent. It made me cry.”

This song makes me cry too, and that’s why it’s last.

Radio Boise

Next, The Night Nurse on Radio Boise has been spinning the vinyl on Wednesdays at 5pm. It’s been cool to hear it playing on the radio driving around town or washing the dishes.

Obscure Sound Review

Another full album review on the music blog Obscure Sound had some kind words:

“a riveting listen that merges gripping narrative allure with soaring folk-forward charm”

Playlists

Playlists are essentially the new radio for most listeners. A couple tracks have been getting good traction on some playlists I’m honored to be featured on.

Radishes and Flowers is featured on this Fingerpicking Acoustic playlist that included a lot of my favorite artists:

And this cool playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1gyY01GILHMzCnl5U5noBd

Earthy Anecdote has found a niche in the indie folk/alt folk crowd and got on this hiking playlist. It’s a perfect fit:

Friends

As always, the way music really gets out into the world is when friends share it with each other. So thank you to all of you for sharing some of your favorite tracks with your friends and family. Especially in this time without live shows, this is really the only way to get off the ground as a new artist.
